School isn’t only for students

While parents and caregivers most often choose a school for their children first, they’re also making a choice about which community will become a major part of their lives. That decision can spark decades of friendships, collaborations, and celebrations.

The Parents Association of La Scuola

Every parent and caregiver who has a student attending La Scuola International School is a member of PALS — the Parents Association of La Scuola. Through PALS, we extend invitations to join social and learning events, find ways to share our talents and passions, and get involved.

Each student arrives to a similarly warm welcome. Welcome activities, class buddies, tours, and more help new La Scuola students become familiar with their new school. PALS plays a role in fostering this joyous community.

From back to school social events to our annual La Dolce Vita gala, we extend a multitude of ways for all of us to participate and take an active role in lifelong learning.

How to Get Involved

Across all of our campuses, PALS members contribute over 10,000 hours of their time per year. Some find gratification in taking on a leadership role or joining a committee. Others volunteer when they can in class or during events.

All contributions are deeply appreciated, as is the powerful sense of community that this involvement builds. Your presence makes us more whole.

Reach out to PALS leadership at pals@lascuolainternational.org to find out more.

Community Events & Gatherings

PALS organizes and supports a number of events each year for the school and the community. Highlights include Diwali, the Italian Heritage Parade, our La Dolce Vita gala, Lunar New Year, and graduation.

We also host multiple opportunities during the year for the community to socialize, discuss topics of interest, and learn.

“Connections! I am not talking about just us as a family. The connections that the kids have with their peers, their teachers, and other families at the school — I see it every single day. My eighth grader still hugs his teachers. He's been hugging those teachers since preschool!”
