A quick introduction to what makes La Scuola International School one-of-a-kind.
拉·斯库拉国际学校
Founded in 2002, La Scuola International School uniquely blends the best approaches in education, guiding students to become leaders of their own learning.
WE ARE:
- One of the very few schools in the world to apply the Reggio Emilia Approach all the way through middle school;
- An authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Middle Years Program school;
- An Italian language immersion school.
- Preschool through eighth grade (2 – 14 years)
- Co-ed, independent day school
Students don’t need to speak Italian or Spanish to enroll
Students entering preschool, kindergarten, first grade, or sixth grade will receive a gentle welcome to Italian and learn alongside their classmates. Students applying to all other grades will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure their smooth integration.
In middle school, instruction is primarily in English, with students receiving 6 hours of language instruction per 6-day rotation. That instruction is split 4 hours / 2 hours between their second language and their third — either Italian or Spanish.
