Connection, Engagement, Community
La Scuola International School is both school and community. We take joy in extending a wealth of opportunities for connection and engagement beyond the classroom. Life as part of La Scuola starts when we welcome new families, greet new hires, and open the doors to new students. On campus, we engage, celebrate, and grow with team sports, student council, affinity groups, peer advisory, and enrichment programs.
Clubs
I club offrono agli studenti l’opportunità di dedicarsi alle passioni comuni — dalla fotografia e dall’arte alla cucina e alle scienze, fino allo sport e ai giochi — in un ambiente rilassato e guidato dagli studenti stessi. I club della scuola media si svolgono durante il “tempo di comunità” previsto a tale scopo, non durante la pausa pranzo né durante le pause o gli intervalli.

Affinity Groups
We dedicate space for families and students with shared identities or experiences to connect, be seen, and build a sense of belonging. This reflects La Scuola’s broader commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Student Council
Middle school students have a voice in school life through the Student Council. This experience gives them practice in leadership, collaboration, and civic responsibility as they plan events, initiatives and represent their peers. Students learn democracy by living it, practicing real decision-making, negotiation, and shared responsibility for their community rather than just being taught about it.
